One of the biggest things that I have taken away from all the training I have done is that the greatest effect SAFE Washington can have is to educate everyone who will listen and wants to learn. Safety, security, and resilience are not just things that leaders need to know and feel, we need to have our agency staff, and our community members all trained across the board. We need to reinforce the actions of learning, preparing, doing, and helping. To actively teach everyone to come to the aid of those in need. When something happens, Stop, Look, Assess the Situation, then Do Something.
